Replacement of implants

Removal of the implant, as well as the changing and implants replacement always takes place after careful women decision. The treatment is carried during  general anaesthesia. It runs almost the same as changing the implants. The only difference is that during removal of breast implants new prosthesis is not placed under the skin.

After the breast surgery, breast doesn’t look too good. The skin is stretched and need time to return to normal. Many women - especially those who want to get rid of excess skin, perform mastopexy, or breast lifting.

It is worth mentioning that women deciding to have surgery - the exchange of the implants should also bear in mind the fact that this treatment may be more „bloody” than the previous one. It turns out that the replacement of the implant is associated with the preparation of the surface to a newer prosthesis. In order to reduce the occurrence of swelling, or bruising, women are assumed to drains and catheters, which are used to drain blood and fluids.

You still need to know that the replacement of implants is also related to the implementation of specific cuts. It allows the elimination of the prosthesis. This is usually the incision, which is located underneath the breast (where it connects to the body). After removal of the implant, immediately a new one is inserted. Then the incision is sewn and carefully marked.
